Paul has been designing and constructing high profile, mission-critical small systems for the Australian Federal Government and the private sector since 1994. While resident in Australia, he was considered a leading Microsoft Access expert and one of 10 most skilled and highly sought-after contractors in the region. His projects have contributed over $1.5b to the Australian economy.

Originally from Whangarei, New Zealand, Paul is a graduate of The University of Waikato. He has a Zoology degree, specialising in Animal Physiology.
In 1989, Paul accepted a PhD scholarship offer from The Research School of Biological Sciences at The Australian National University. Paul holds dual citizenship in Australia and New Zealand, and has a current security clearance with the Australian Federal Government.
Interests
Paul collects fossils, animation memorabilia and items of historical interest. He enjoys photography, art, scale modelling, electronics, music composition, home theatre and Japanese culture.
He is single, can never own enough pot plants and expects to acquire two axolotls, one called Kipper and the other one Knot.
